Root color and gray blending

Color that keeps pace with your roots, with or without gray.

Root color covers your roots and blends them into the rest of your length. Gray blending uses soft lowlights and highlights so gray can grow in without a hard line. All-over color gives one shade from roots to ends. Your colorist agrees the plan and the schedule with you.

What to expect

  • Root color, about two hours

  • Gray blending, two to two and a half hours

  • A plan for how often to return

Questions about this service

How often should I touch up my roots?

It depends on how fast your hair grows and how much contrast you want to hide. Your colorist suggests a schedule at your consultation.

Can I let my gray grow in?

Yes. Gray blending is made for that: soft lowlights and highlights that make the change gradual. We plan it with you.

Can I change my all-over color later?

You can, and the way depends on what is on your hair now. That is what the consultation is for.
